Barbaresco corresponds to the central part of Piedmont, located near Alba. This name is one of the noblest in Italy. It owes its international reputation to Angelo Gaja's fabulous cuvées. Relatively lighter and tender than its neighbor the barolo, but still tannic and concentrated, the Barbaresco is one of the very best Italian wines, very distinguished.
